Application at the vitagroup
Here you will find the most important answers about our application process
How can I tell if a vacancy is still open?
We update our careers page regularly—all of the vacancies here are still open. We look forward to receiving your application!
Is there an application deadline?
There’s no application deadline—if a vacancy is still online, then we’d welcome your application.
What happens to my data?
It goes without saying that your data is treated confidentially. Only the people directly involved in the application process and authorised decision makers will have access to your application documents. You’ll find further details on how we handle data in our Privacy Policy.
What’s the interview process at vitagroup?
If your professional and personal profile meets the requirements for the vacancy, we’ll invite you to an interview in order to learn more about you.
The precise application process depends largely on the position you apply for. So it’s worth taking a look below the actual position you’re interested in as that’s where you’ll find the details of the specific application process for that area.
Regardless of the exact role, we’ll give you as much insight as possible into your future working environment during our application process and introduce you to your potential colleagues and, usually, your future team leader as well. This allows both sides to gain the fullest possible impression of each other from different perspectives and transition seamlessly into a positive future working relationship.
How should I prepare for my interview?
The main reason we call you for interview is to get to know the person behind the application. There’s no textbook that you need to review in order to prepare—just be yourself.
Essentially, we want to learn about your skills and interests and see if you’d be a good fit for us and vice versa. In addition to professional qualifications, we look for people who identify with our company goals and are eager to help us achieve them.
What case studies do I have to revise?
Generally none. Don’t worry, the initial interview is by no means an exam situation. Rather, we’ll ask you about your motivations and experience, and we’ll pose questions relating to future scenarios that you might encounter when working for us. Depending on the requirements of the specific vacancy, however, we might ask you to prepare a short practical task before a second interview. The purpose of this is to give us an even better understanding of your abilities and a direct basis for an in-depth professional discussion.
What technical applications do I need for a virtual interview?
If called for a virtual interview, you’ll receive an invite from our recruiter containing all of the key information, including a MS-Teams link for the video call. You don’t have to download or install anything in advance.
Shortly before the interview, you’ll be able to log in via this link to take part.
When can I expect to hear back?
We’re keen to get the best candidates on board as quickly as possible. To make a properly considered choice, we take the time to look at each profile individually. Therefore, the number of applications received will be one factor that determines how long it takes us to get back to you. However, we always try to give feedback in a timely manner. We’ll be happy to update you on the status of your application within a week of your interview.
Is it possible to request specific feedback once the final decision has been made?
We completely understand that you want to further develop and continuously improve your application and interview skills. We believe that dedicated feedback from companies can help with this. So if there’s anything you’d like clarified, or if you’d appreciate further feedback, we’d be pleased to discuss this with you over the phone. Otherwise, we’ll provide you with brief feedback between interviews in any case and would encourage you to give us feedback as well.
We’re equally grateful for your honest feedback so that we can continue to optimise our recruitment and interview process.
We look forward to hearing from you!
